About Block Blast Solver

Block Blast Solver helps you find a good move in Block Blast. You upload a screenshot of your board, or you enter the board by hand. The tool shows you what it found, you check it, and then it shows you where each of your three pieces can go.

It is free. There is no account and no signup. It works in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

This is an independent project. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the makers of Block Blast.

There are two parts. First it has to read your board. Then it has to find the moves.

1. Reading the board. We use image processing to find the 8x8 grid and to decide which cells are filled. The three pieces in the tray are read the same way, straight from the pixels. In some cases an AI vision service also helps read the shapes.
2. You confirm it. We show you the detected board and pieces. If you want to change a cell or a shape, just tap it. We never solve until you can see what we read.
3. Finding the moves. The solver tries the pieces in every position and every order. It looks at the board each move leaves behind, and it picks a sequence that clears lines and keeps space open. Pieces are used exactly as shown, because Block Blast does not rotate them.

Reading a screenshot usually takes a couple of seconds. Once the board is confirmed, solving takes a fraction of a second. Manual mode skips the reading step completely.

Every guide answers one question. We only write what we've seen in the game or tested with the solver. We don't publish exact numbers we haven't checked, and when something is just a common belief, we say so. When the game changes, we update the guide.
