No Moves Left in Block Blast? Here's What to Do
Three pieces, and none of them fit. Before you give up, here is why this happens, how to check if it is really over, and what to do differently next game.
Short answer
"No moves left" means none of your three pieces fits anywhere. No trick changes the pieces you got. What you can do is stop it before it happens: keep room for a 3×3 block and a 5-square line at all times.

Why this happens
It Did Not Start on This Turn
The moment you see all three pieces turn red is the moment you notice the problem. But it did not start there. It started a few turns earlier, when the board slowly ran out of usable space.
This is the part many players miss. A board can look open and still be stuck. Empty cells are not the same as usable cells. If the empty cells are scattered around in tiny pieces, no big piece can land on them.
That is why the game can end with lots of empty squares on the screen. The game does not count empty squares. It only asks one question: can any of the three pieces you hold fit somewhere right now?

When you are stressed, it is easy to miss a spot. A piece might fit in a corner or along an edge you did not look at. Before you start a new game, check the board once more. If it really is over, you will know for sure instead of guessing. If you use the solver, take a clear screenshot or enter the board by hand.

Almost every stuck board shows a few signs several turns before the end.
A corner fills without clearing
If a piece only fits in a corner and it does not clear a line, that space is gone for the rest of the game.
Small gaps start appearing
One empty square boxed in by blocks can only hold a 1x1 piece. Every gap like this is space you have lost.
You play pieces in the order given
The order your pieces are shown in is not a rule. If your hardest piece only fits in one spot, place it first. Here is why.
If you notice two of these at the same time, slow down. That is the turn to think about all three pieces together, not the turn to grab an easy clear.
Learn to see it
Three Kinds of Dead Space
Dead space is any empty area that none of your future pieces can use. Once you learn to spot it, you can avoid making more of it.
- Single holes. One empty cell with blocks on every side. Only a 1x1 piece fits, and that piece is rare.
- Narrow strips. A gap that is one cell wide and only a few cells long. Only a straight piece of the right length fits.
- Split areas. Lots of empty cells, but cut into small islands by your own blocks. A big piece needs one big open area, not five small ones.
If the solver agrees
When It Really Is Over
If the solver checks everything and still finds no move, that is the real answer. Block Blast has no undo, so there is nothing left to try. This is normal. It happens to everyone, even players with very high scores.
Instead of being upset, use the moment. Look at the board once more and ask: where did the space go? Was it the middle? Was it a corner you filled early? That one question will help you more than any trick.

No, there is no undo. That is why it helps to check a tricky board before you place a piece, not after.

Block Blast only checks if the piece fits right where you are placing it. It does not warn you about your other two pieces. That part is up to you.

Low on space still has a move, just not a comfortable one. No moves left means none of your three pieces fit anywhere at all.
